Lesson 13 of 25

A failed break is a trade the other way

When the break gets reclaimed, the trapped side has to exit. That fuels the reverse move.

What you see
  • Break, then a fast close back inside the range.
  • Speed picks up in the opposite direction.
Why it happens
  • Trapped entries plus their stops equal one-sided flow.
  • The untouched side of the range is the draw.
How to trade it
  • Enter on the reclaim.
  • Stop beyond the failed break.
  • Target the other end of the range.
Journal it: Log failed breaks you saw but did not take.
