Lesson 2 of 25
No bottom wick, no top wick — it gets revisited
A flat low or flat high was never tested. Price usually goes back to test it.
What you see
- Candle closes right on its extreme, no tail.
- Usually after a fast push.
Why it happens
- No wick means nobody pushed back at that price.
- Untested edges are magnets.
How to trade it
- Mark the flat edge as the first return level.
- In a trade, it is a sensible partial.
- If it holds on the retest, that is the continuation entry.
Journal it: Note flat-edge candles and how many candles the retest took.
