A long wick INTO a level is a probe, not a rejection
The wick through a big level is often the market feeling for stops before going through.
What you see
- Wick pierces the level, body closes back inside.
- Happens on a third or fourth touch.
Why it happens
- Stops sit just past the level.
- The wick collects them cheaply.
How to trade it
- Do not fade a late touch on the wick alone.
- Wait for the close to see who won.
Journal it: Record whether you faded the wick or waited — and which paid.
