Lesson 3 of 25

A long wick INTO a level is a probe, not a rejection

The wick through a big level is often the market feeling for stops before going through.

What you see
  • Wick pierces the level, body closes back inside.
  • Happens on a third or fourth touch.
Why it happens
  • Stops sit just past the level.
  • The wick collects them cheaply.
How to trade it
  • Do not fade a late touch on the wick alone.
  • Wait for the close to see who won.
Journal it: Record whether you faded the wick or waited — and which paid.
Track this setup in your own journal and see whether it actually pays you.Go Pro
