Real structure break vs inducement break
Displacement tells you which one you are looking at.
What you see
- Real: big bodies, imbalance, follow-through.
- Fake: small overlapping candles, no gap left behind.
Why it happens
- Size shows up as speed.
- Slow breaks are usually just filling orders.
How to trade it
- Only trade continuation after a break with displacement.
Journal it: Score each break: displacement yes or no.
